It is not planetary orientation that affects the climate.
It is planetary perihelion that affects the climate:
It is evident that the variations in Earth’s temperature during a year are mainly dependent on the rotation and revolution of the Earth. The departure from 0.87 is indicative of the influence of other factors on the variation in Earth’s temperature. This suggests that (1) a curve, X(t), can be used to derive the annual variation in temperature, whose duration depends on the temporal variability of the Earth’s revolution, and (2) the annual cycle curve (X(t)) can consist of a series of functions describing the effect of different orbits on Earth’s temperature perturbations: X(t)=f1(t)+f2(t)+f3(t)+Z(t),
where X(t) represents infuence of all planetary orbits on the change in Earth’s temperature at time t. X(t) was then determined by the summation of four functions, i.e. f1, f2, f3, and Z. f1(t), f2(t) and f3(t) represent the influences of Earth’s rotation, lunar revolution and Earth’s revolution on Earth’s temperature changes at time t, respectively. Z(t) denotes the effects of the orbits of the other seven planets (namely, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Venus and Uranus) in the solar system on the change in Earth’s temperature at time t.
The motion of Earth (i.e. rotation and revolution) and its impact on Earth’s temperature are all periodic (Sections 2.2.1 and 2.2.3). The Fourier transform analysis of hourly temperature data revealed that the amplitudes of the harmonic terms corresponding to the rotation and revolution period times are nearly constant. Thus, functions composed of harmonic terms can be used to describe the effects of Earth’s rotation and Earth’s revolution on changes in Earth’s temperature during a year. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/390547383_Evaluation_and_prediction_of_the_effects_of_planetary_orbital_variations_to_earth's_temperature_changes
Normal.
Spinky has no idea what I’m talking about with the planets and is on another subject.
Solar flares this morning and then Kamchatka and Equador volcanos erupted. Electrons still above Alert Level, biggest spike in years.
Spinky I am not even talking about climate. Just you are.
I’m talking about something ELSE with planetary alignments completely different. Apples and grapefruits.
I already know about what you are talking about you just don’t know anything about what I’m talking about. Planetary alignments cause solar flares. Say that ten times. From Interplanetary Magnetic Field Lines. Electrical connections. Electroverse. When the Sun’s Polarities are on the side of the Sun they ARC off the planets. Plasma. Same as lightning, arc welding. Extreme heat. That is why you watch the Planets to see when solar flares might happen. Or flares that DID happen, you can look back at all the solar flares and see which Planets caused the event. Pick a hurricane, see what flare caused it from what Planetary alignment. Forensics. Electroverse.
Hurricane Helene was from solar flares from planetary alignments. The solar flare also made the Mexican volcano erupt which made the hurricane. I can show ya the solar flares and tell ya what planets did it. Pick a hurricane. Go fetch. Endless research from decades of available data. Mercury in retrograde has done more damage than you can imagine. Quakes too from solar flares from Planetary alignments. 79 volcanos erupting now from Planetary alignments. Next week there is a big double planetary alignment involving the two biggest Planets. Electrons are still the strongest in years on the chart.
I am still wondering if this business of planetary alignments causing solar flares is something new or just goes on all the time but nobody noticed it before or what?
What happens when there are few solar flares — few planetary alignments?

54F forecast in Denver today Wednesday, temps forecast climbing to 86 next Wednesday the ave is 73. All the snow will melt. BFD.
Top article on Space Weather.com today Wednesday 5/7/’25 says no weak SC26, ’09 was the low. Solar cycles will get stronger after SC25, no GSM no GSM global cooling. That’s great news!!
They updated the ENSO/ONI/El Nino/La Nina chart so you can see how pathetic it was. They haven’t updated the chart for months so this is great!!!! https://ggweather.com/enso/oni1990.jpg
That’s simply because the trough will LEAVE the Western US by that time, of course, along with the fact that’s it’s May anyway. The trough is shifting East after this Wednesday, so the colder air will move East as well associated with its eastward progression as thicknesses rise out West at 500mb and thicknesses lower as a consequence in the Eastern US. Nothing unusual about temps warming up out West after late this week. What IS unusual is the amount of snow that fell from Montana to New Mexico mountains for early May. That’s what’s important! Nobody cares about the 7 day forecast for Denver. I can get that anywhere.
Snow in the Rockies is normal weather, nothing to get excited about. More snow forecast in the West US, Canada, Alaska. 5 feet of new snow forecast in Alaska next two weeks. If you’re going mountain climbing this time of year you need Winter gear to stay alive. We go ski fresh powder snow in May it snows then it melts. Two years ago in April Mt Baker got 10.5 feet of snow. This year was 2.5 feet. https://www.mtbaker.us/the-mountain/snowfall-statistics/
I would like to begin an effort to drop the idea of a 30 year average when looking at weather data. In the state of Colorado, I know the weather history from the college of agriculture dates back before the year 1900, and that college is located at Fort Collins, Colorado. I have seen a graph of the rain and snowfall from this site, and it distinctly shows the 22 year drought cycle. This cycle has never been broken. If we use the 30 year convention of displaying “the average”, we are only seeing a short snapshot of what the real “average” could really be. 30 years is only about 1.5 drought cycles. Let us all demand using all the known data. MJ Carmon
79 volcanos erupting this week while solar activity is highest on the Electron Chart in years. Volcanos were quiet during last Cosmic Ray maximum during Solar Minimum.
48 was a lot a few years ago then 52. Now 79 up from 76 but overall SO2 looks lower on Windy.
Space Weather.com is warning of possible X flares right now from the biggest sunspot of the year. TCI went up again from increased solar activity.
The Solar Superstorm in 2005 that caused Hurricane Katrina was three years AFTER solar max, Florida’s getting all rebuilt for this year’s Hurricanes, sea temps are still above ave.
Antarctica contains 90% of the world‘s ice, meaning continued growth of the overall ice sheet’s surface mass balance will likely lead to declining sea levels in the future as average temperatures continue to fall on the continent, along with increasing snow and ice accumulation.
HI, Cap the SMB graph of Greenland was able to be printed out.
I do not seem to be able to do it over the last two weeks.
Can you please help
Electrons above Alert Level again today, third day in a row, strongest spikes in years. Biggest sunspot of the year pointing at Earth now. The planets are going into a double alignment next week. Venus opposite Jupiter and Mercury goes by Saturn. Another huge alignment the start of June. Sun’s polarities are not close to being stable at the Poles for solar minimum.

What’s with all these planetary alignments you talk about all the time? Is it normal or abnormal to have so many of them?

Next time try speaking in letters, not numbers.
Anyway, I was addressing Dirk. He’s the guy with the planetary alignments.
Compare the moon’s gravitational pull that creates tides with the alignment of the planets.
Does the alignment of the planets create tides?

Volcanoes and earthquakes are created from varying pressures on the Earth’s crust by ice masses and tides.

Iceland quake while electrons above Alert Level. UK could get smothered by snow from an Iceland eruption, don’t really want that.
